Hey guys! It’s been a while since we’ve talked. It’s not that I have been busy; I’ve just been very lazy and unwilling to blog. I need to change this mindset of mine and really get into blogging like I used to. My drafts folder (that I always talk about) is overwhelming right now and I can’t take it. Things need to be typed up and posted. Anyway, that’s not what I want to write about in this current post. Today, I want to talk to you about my new summer hairstyle. As you all know, the sun can really wreck our hair. Thanks to my hair type (4 category), my hair is already drier than most hair types. The sun only dries it out even more and it’s not a good thing. For me, my hair needs to be protected from the sun in the summer as much as it does during the the chill from the winter. What style am I doing to protect my hair? Crochet braids.

Crochet braids are not only look good, but they are very easy to do. For right now, I’m only going to show you all the hair and how it looks installed. Today’s a quick post, but it’s better than nothing. Here is the deets on my hair:

Brand: Freetress Gogo Curl in the colors 1B & 33
How Many Packs Used: I used 2 1/2 packs of 1B and 1 pack of 33

Cost: $4.99/pack
# of Total Packs Purchased: 4
Photos of the hair out the pack & installed:

I kept this style in a total of 2 weeks, and it took me about a day to do (being the first time doing it on myself and other interruptions). I took this style out sooner than I wanted because of my scalp itching so much. Next time I do this style, I will not only prep my hair better, but I will show you all my step by step process from the prep of my hair to the installation  of the hair. I hope you all enjoyed this post. If you have any questions, be sure to leave them in the comments. I will talk to you all again very soon!
