Hey y’all! Long time, blah blah blah. You know, the same stuff I always say when I’ve been away from my blog for months at a time. How goes it? As you can see by the title, I am apart of a 30 day blog challenge, and I thought “what better way to get back into blogging?” It’s been a long time since I’ve been here, and honestly, I miss sharing things with you guys. I’m actually a day late on starting this challenge, so I’m going to do a post for both Day 1 and 2 to get me back on track. So, let’s start on today’s theme: Basic info about myself.
I always find these things hard; “Tell us about yourself!” I never thought it would be hard to talk about myself, even if I am just writing basic information about myself. What am I to share? What am I not to share? Where do I start? Do I start with humor, and lead you down the road of my sensitivity? Or do I throw a list of “this is what I am” to you and say see you later? Let’s see…
Well, first off, I go by the name Shuna Rae, which a classmate gave to me during my junior year of high school. I’m a born and raised resident of Memphis, the land of amazing barbecue, music, and (unfortunately, lol) the city where Hustle & Flow was filmed. I’m a year away from my quarter-life crisis and I’m a college student. I have two dogs, Moki and Maxie who are my headaches. I’m obsessed with makeup and hair, as well as food.
I enjoying cooking new dishes, and trying to find new ways to domesticate myself. I’m newly into wine, and I like to enjoy a glass whenever I’m eating dinner. Writing has always been a passion of mine, as I am able to truly be myself when I’m typing. I love writing stories based on things I’ve watched, or things that I think of. I also enjoy blogging, which I why I currently have this beauty/lifestyle blog, and a relationship blog that deals with wedding planning (I have to get back to this). I’m a little bit of an anime nerd, and video games are like my crack. I’m pretty quiet in person, especially around people that I do not know, though it is not hard to get me open up. What is that word they use for people who are to themselves, but love being around people as well? An ambivert? That’s me, in most social situations.
That’s all I have so far. I really can’t think of much else to say about myself. I hope you all will stick around with me as I take on this challenge. I’m a little rusty on blogging, so my thoughts are pretty scatter-brained. Look out for my Day Two post. That will be coming soon. Until then, I hope this post finds you in happiness, love, and blessings!
