Review Day: Boots No. 7 Skin

Hey guys! I’m here with a review for Boots No. 7 Skin. I received the Beautiful Skin Cleansing Lotion and the Beautiful Skin Night Cream for normal/dry skin in my Beauty Blogger Voxbox. As always when it comes to these reviews, I received these products for review purposes courtesy of Influenster. Let’s get right into the review!

Boots Beautiful Skin Cleansing Lotion & Night Cream for Normal/Dry Skin

Product info: No7 appreciates that busy lifestyles mean you don’t always have time for a lengthy skincare regimen. That’s why we’ve created Beautiful Skin. Discover radiant skin in 14 days with two simple steps:

Step 1: Cleanse
The first step to beautiful skin is clean skin. All Beautiful Skin cleansers quickly and gently remove all traces of dirt and impurities, leaving you with perfectly clean, healthy skin. Skin is so effectively cleansed that there is no need for a separate toner.

Step 2: Moisturize
Once cleansed, hydrate your skin with our nourishing day and night creams. All our day creams deliver SPF 15 and Broad Spectrum UV Protection, while our night creams work to promote optimum hydration while you sleep.

Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Lotion Normal/Dry
The light, refreshing wipe-off formula feels weightless on the skin, yet it’s very hard working, removing every last trace of make-up and grime. Packed with moisturizing agents like Glycerin, your skin will be left soft and refreshed. The oils are optimized to be the most effective at cleansing away dirt without removing natural and beneficial skin lipids.

How to Use
This wipe-off cleanser is creamy and moisturizing therefore no water is required as part of your facial routine. Best applied to dry skin, massage upward and across the skin using cotton or wool, avoiding the eye area, and wipe off.

Retails for: $8.49 (Cleanser), $13.99 (Night Cream)

Pros:

  • The cleansing cream leaves my skin feeling soft; I find that I only need to used about a dime size for my entire face 2x to get it clean enough for my liking.
  • When paired with the cleansing cream, I find that putting on the night cream right after makes my feel SO very soft in the morning. For my dry skin, especially during this time of year, that makes a big difference.
  • The price. Neither of these products in the full size are very expensive. Personally, I’ve been more night creams at double and triple the price and I can say that I would rather buy the Boots Night Cream than this one. It is much more available to me, right in my local Target.
Cons:
  • I don’t have any cons for this. It didn’t make me break out or anything.
I really liked this combo for my skin. During the fall/winter time, I try my best to use skin care products that not only make my skin feel softer, but moisturized as well. This was my first time using a cream cleanser, which I find that my skin likes a lot more than gel cleansers. The night cream has to be my favorite too. I’m really a fan and these products are on my wishlist for Christmas. I hope you all enjoyed this review. Let me know if you try this out or what your favorite cleansers are. Talk to you all soon!
